Miso Garlic Butter

This is the compound butter recipe you didn't know you needed. This is my version of a recipe that was given to me by a dear friend of the family. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!


INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, softened

  • 1/3 cup shiro miso paste, softened

  • 2 tbsp fresh or dehydrated chives

  • 1/8 - 1/4 tsp cayanne or chipotle chille pepper

  • 1/4 tsp salt

Mix butter and miso together in a bowl with a fork until incorporated. Add chives, pepper, and salt and mix well. Use immedately, or chill in fridge to solidify.
